Our Practice utilizes much of the latest new technology available in the dental field:

 

• High Speed electric drills which save time and cut smoothly without much vibration.  Patients have reported them to be more comfortable then the traditonal high speed air turbine. They speeding  the process without any sacrifice in quality.

 

• We employ theThe Dexis Digital X-ray system. Dental X-rays taken using a digital X-ray sensor provide the patient with lower radiation exposures than traditional high speed dental films and these modern digitally produced radiographic images are instantly developed and can be easily emailed to specialists or dentists for second opinions

 

• If you need it, root canal treatment can be less stressful with our new rotary endodontic treatment followed up with 3D - warm gutta percha sealing of the root canal teeth.  Treatment time is less and  certainly the results are better.

 

• We have Movie glasses that patients can wear while in the chair.  Patients have found them to be a wonderful distraction and I think they can reduce anxiety.(I like the Law and Order Episodes we have, but feel free to bring your own DVD!)

 

• We employ a Nikon SLR Camera , equipped with a Macro lens and special flash that allows us to take high quality digital photos of our patients mouths . These can be used to communicate with our dental laboratory, other specialists or our patients. The images can be photo shopped to preview proposed changes in a patient's smile

 

• We have a laser cavity detector(diagnodent) and  also use that  transillumination  and Magnification to better assist in the early detection of cavities. We can often detect problems before they show on x-rays.

 

• Nitrous Oxide with Scavenger system which also assist us in treating patients with dental anxiety while keeping the office safe from the nitrous oxide trace vapors.

 

• The Wand Dental system for pain free injections: This is a standardized and gentle way of administering local dental anaesthesa

 

• Dr. Spindel wears glasses that highly magnify the mouth and help him perform detailed work of dentistry and they also help eliminate trauma by making all his movements more precise.

 

• Topical applications of Arestin; a topical and affordable antibiotic placed in periodontal pockets) that promote healing and pocket reduction

 

• Invisalign clear braces that utilize  computer generated animation adn cad cam technology to model planned orthodonic tooth movements and allow fabrication of clear custom trays that create planned tooth movement

 

• Lava and Procera all porcelain crowns: tough and beautiful metal free crowns that look natural and are in part generated by cad cam computer imaging.
